What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?
went to the doctor on may 17 had a temp of 101.4 for most of the night before, and felt terrible. they did blood tests and my bilirubin level was 2.3 mg and my white blood cell count was at 16.2. they brought me back in on may 18 to do an ultrasound. they said it looked like sludge balls or gallstones. they made me an appointment on may 22 with a gi doctor. did more blood tests on may 21, and when I saw the gi doctor my numbers were normal. she said nothing was wrong and I probably had a virus at the time. is this something I should be worried about and get a second opinion. now I feel terrible again, but don t have a temperature.

welcome to hcm ..as your bilirubin has raised and tlc also raised snd had fever according to me you must be having abdominal discomfort at that time also
as these symptoms may become normal as the inflammation or infection subside
because you are having problem again now ..if you are having some abdominal discomfort now you should be evaluated for gall bladder and pancreas and liver as there is history of gall stone or sludge already
i would suggest CT scan abdomen and tests as serum bilirubin ..sgot ...sgpt ...serum alkaline phoshphatase ..TLC ..DLC ..ESR ...CRP ...serum amylase and serum lipase
till tests avoid fatty foods
you may take tab ranitidine 150 mg two times plus tab drotoverine 80 mg two times
as per say you can discuss these things with your second opinion doctor as well
i am sure that you will get diagnosis with these tests
