I have PCOS and have been bleeding since Sept 16th of 2016. Some days worse than others. I met with a specialist last Tuesday who put me on Norethistrone for 10 days. (I was spotting when i saw him) He did an ultrasound of my uterus and he said we need to shed the lining of my uterus because it is extremely thick. I go back for another ultrasound on August 1st to see how much I have shed...but as soon as I started talking the medication (Wednesday night) I have stopped bleeding. He said I will be probably bleeding quite profusely.. And passing massive clots like I did in March... now i have been taking this medication for 3 days now, and tonight will be my 4th dose.... So when am I suppose to start bleeding again? Is this medication working?
