What Does My Ultrasound Scan Test Report Indicate?

I went to my first prenatal appointment in VA since I moved here. I got pregnant in Cali. Everything was fine. But at this appointment the ultrasound tech said she didn t see a baby. And she had the doctor come in and said that I had tissue left inside for 3 months. But I never bleed heavy just little spotting but no tissue. And I always told my husband what was going on. Will this affect me getting pregnant again right away?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
If you still have the tissue part or temnant in utero it is important to remove it completly because unless the uterus is normal and empty it will not be ready for implantation and getting pregnant might be difficult.
I will suggest you to consult a gynecologist first so as to evacuate the tissues which are still retained and undergo small procedure called as dilatation and curretage.
Then let 1 or 2 normal periodic cycle let go and then try to conceive again.
I hope i have answered your query well.
Thank you
