What Does My Ultrasound Test Result For Ovarian Cysts Indicate?

I m a 24 year old woman and recently this week had a ultra sound done. My Ob found several simple falical cyst on my right ovary, however my left ovary found (in size) 21×13×31 complex cyst that had some fluid through my col-de-sac. I m a little concerned he is waiting too long to do anything about it. I have a 2 month check up as of today and counting to see if its shrenked, stayed the same or enlarged. Should I consult with another ob to get a second opinion for surgery to check it furthure? With having swelling to my left stomach area and pain that has been there for quite some time, I just feel unsettling about this. Please help me!!! Thank you.

Hello,

Many of the cystic lesions of the ovary do respond to hormone medications as combined contraceptive pills and others. It is best recommended to discuss the scope of type of different medications to possible direction of dissolving the cyst in meanwhile time frame upto next scan evaluation.
