What Does My Urine Test Report Indicate?

Dear Sir, I am asking this doubt on behalf of my mother s (65years) urine test. Reaction - acid Albumin - Trace Sugar - nil Bile pigments - nil Pus cells = 4-6/HPF RBC= 2-4/HPF epithelial cells + Mucus threads + Crystals - URATES+ Any infection?

Hi, I think your urine analysis is normal. There is no infection. 4 to 6 pushpam cells are normal. If she has burning sensation in urine or has frequent urination, tell her to drink around 3 to 4 litres of water per day and take some urine alkaliser like syrup alkasol. If it persists, get a urine culture and sensitivity test done. Sometimes infections are evident on culture only. Hope I have answered your question.
