What Does My Urine Test Result Indicate?

hi doc..on my result of urine test..some bacteria seen through microscopic examination,,what is pus cells:numerous/hpf then my epithelial cells is++ mucus threads+ bacteria+ then pus cell in clumps++..what does it means all about doc..pls help me to understand about this..

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You are suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).
This is indicated by presence of pus cells,epithelial cells,bacteria,mucus threads etc in urine.
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Random blood sugar,Renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.
Ultrasound of abdomen can detect other associated pathology.
At present you need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.
