My doctor requested for a urine Re and the result turned out like as follows :urine color: straw,pH:5.0,glucose:negative,specific gravity 1.020, crystals: uric acid ,urobilinogen:normal, blood:negative, what does this mean? If there is a problem with it,what do you advice?
Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of the urine report is as follows: The physical attributes- color- straw, pH- acidic, specific gravity- 1.020 are within normal limits. The chemical attributes- glucose, uric acid, urobilinogen, blood are negative. This implies that these parameters are within normal limits.
There is no problem and the report is absolutely within normal limits.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
