Hello and welcome to HCM, The Widal test is done to look for typhoid fever. Antibodies against antigens 'h' and 'o' of Salmonella are detected by Widal test. The results are expressed as titres. A titre of antibodies against antigen 'h' and 'o' below 1:80 is considered as negative. A positive result for Salmonella antigens 'h' and 'o' suggest that the antibody titres are above 1:80 and thus you are suffesring from typhoid fever. I suggest you to consult your physician for further management. Smear for malarial parasite is an investigation done on blood to look for malaria parasite. The report says that no malarial parasite is detected on smear.
