my 7 years old nephew who is very active child sometimes suddenly woke up at night and cry continuously. last year his x-ray report shows he lobulated soft tissue opacity is seen in the postero superior aspect of naspharyngs causing compression over the airway column, prevertebral tissue is normal. Rest of the imaged portion is unremarkable finding suggest enlarged adenoid but he never snor, but he sleep with his mouth slightly open, he is little bit hyperactive relative to his 4 years old brother but when I fouund his friends he seems same as others. It is difficult to make him do homework, its almost everyday s fight with his mother. He wants to play all day. Don t like to sleep even if tired, as if he is going to miss something. He had several RTI, UTI, neonatal Jaundice and dengue fever had infantile colic. He was given an spray once, he continued that for given time felt better. one doctor suggested operation but since he is very young and get upset easily so his parents are waiting if the adenoid shrink with time. today he fell from 6 feet tall wall got hurt and woke at night and cry. Yesterday he had a fight with his mother woke at night and cry. I am just wondering is this due to adenoid or trauma? My sister is saying it has happened almost 1/3 of a month, this month and for few days it has been difficult to make him stop, he cried continuously and very loudly. ...oo I thougt its a free site, thanks :(
