What Does My X-ray Test Report Indicate?

Sir I had TB when I was 16 and I have been completed TB treatment course and now I m 24 and I applied in army and they declare me unfit because of calcific foci seen in left upper zone in my chest x-ray and all other reports and clear and there is no doubt in any other reports ...so I want to know there is any bad news regarding to my health or it s just normal because of illness in childhood... plz reply me asap because I m worrying so much about my health!

Hi, whenever a person suffers from tuberculosis and he has taken all the treatment, calcific foci appears in the lungs which were earlier infected. This is a normal thing and doesn't indicate infection. I think army people has some very strict criteria and that's why they have declared you unfit for army. However, in my opinion, you are healthy and like any other person you can do all the things.
