What Does Nasal Bleeding After Open Heart Surgery Suggest?

Hello. My Dad just had open heart surgery a few days ago. He has 8 different medications he is supposed to take one pill of each a day, some at night, some in the morning. Ever since he got back he has had an excessive nosebleed, he keeps tissue up his nostrils to stop the bleeding, but it continues to bleed. When he blows his nose he gets thick blood in the tissues. His doctor is unreachable on the weekends, what do I do?

it is a highly specialized surgery for any follow up treatment or postoperative counselling , you have to consult the surgeon who performed the surgery. any medication in between will be risky without consultation of cardiac surgeon who performed the surgery.
