I have a 46-year-old, male, friend who-since July-has experienced the following various symptoms: nausea, bloating, chills, feeling of his esophagus being pulled to one side, belching, stool changes, chest tightness, lightheadedness, facial tingling, left-sided tingling, shoulder and arm heaviness, leg weakness, extreme fatigue, heartburn, tingling of back of neck and lips, right eye blurred vision with dizziness and headaches. He has undergone the following tests: chest x-ray, chest CT, ultrasound carotids, MRI brain, MRI c-spine, cervical neck x-rays, ultrasound abdomen, stress test, cardiac catheterization, and is scheduled to undergo upper GI series and bacterical overgrowth test. Multiple labs have been done including: Chromogranin C, c reactive protein, TSH, t-4, lyme s titer, immunoglobulins, CBC, general chemistries, GFR, lipase, lactic acid, d-dimer, b-type natriuretic peptide, bicarbonate, cryptospor Ag, giardia Ag, giardia Int, urinalysis,?meat allergy testing, stool culture/testing.
