What Does Negative Pregnancy Test And Missed Period Indicate?

hi doctor my eosinophils value is 15.8,total leucocytes 15.41,neutrophils 7.32,lymphocytes 5.35. iam daibetic too,recent report show unsatisfactory contol, my periods were normal every month but for this month its missed 8days. i did utp at home its negative. i have mild abdominal pain and feels fatique alot. whats happening to me, iam 37yrs old

Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone which can be found 11 to 14 days after conception.

If the test was done after this time period then it is accurate and you are not pregnant at this time. IF it was done before then it should be repeated in a few days.

Delayed periods can be due to: (1) physical illness or stress, this means that the uncontrolled diabetes can be contributing

(2)emotional illness/stress

(3)side effect of hormonal medication

(4)polycystic ovarian syndrome

(5)thyroid disease

(6)high prolactin hormone levels

Blood tests may be needed for thyroid hormone, prolactin hormone.
Imaging of the uterus may also be needed.
