General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this:

1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [neurologist] and to confirm and rule out other pathological disorders do MRI scan.

2) Discuss with your Doctor about following prescription medications like:
a) [Sumatriptan and Naproxen Sodium] for pain in head.
b) [Amitriptyline] for preventive medications which you need to take it regularly.

Do follow few lifestyle modifications like this:

1) Try to avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your problem in the past, avoid them.

2) Try to reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake and avoid tobacco.

3) Make a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress.

4) Do exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent your problems. You can do any aerobic exercise you enjoy, including walking, swimming, and cycling. Regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight.

5) Try to reduce the effects of estrogen. These medications include birth control pills and hormone replacement therapy. So, discuss with your [GYN] doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
