What Does Numbness In The Left Arm Indicate?

I started having my left arm and hand fall asleep every day or two. Then it traveled to my hand. I had recently had a total knee replacement (about 4 months ago). I thought that I was just over using it when I stand. But the tingling and numbness seems to be in my hand now. So I'm starting to worry.

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern
The tingling numbness in your arm &.hand are from fdifferent cause than your knee problem..It can be --vitamin B12 drficiency/nerve pressure at elbow joint /following injury to ulnar nerve at ulnar notch near elbow joint /cervical spin or disc problem pinching nerve suplying afeected area.
You need consulration &investigations to pin point the cause.. followed by specific management ( medicines, physiotherapy or surgery in few cases)
Please consult a orthopedic surgeon/nurologist/spinal surgeon )
Thanks.
