General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello

As the total sperm count is low with pus cells and motility is hampered, there should be definite concern with:
- Sperm production as defective through pathology of seminal vesicles or epididymis
- Hormone deficiency affecting sertoli and leydig cells
- Testicular tumors
- Tobacco related
- Tuberculosis of epididymis or testis

So far as fertility is concerned, status of hormones of testosterone, LH, hypothalamus functioning and testicular biopsy are mandatory to be evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon

General & Family Physician Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali's  Response
Hi,

Suggestions for infection. Based on the report of the semen analysis you seem to be suffering from an infection of epididymis, testicles or gonorrhea.

You need to take a course of suitable antibiotics to be prescribed by your doctor. The sperm count might increase once the infection is eradicated and thereafter you would be able to be a father.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
