What Does On And Off Burning Pain In Arm Near The Elbow Suggest?

yes, please I have sudden pain in my arm right where my elbow is, but not my elbow. It feels like a burning hot nail is suddenly being driven into my arm in the area where my elbow is. Occurred in the past, but is now more frequent. Comes and goes but can be so sudden and painful that I jump from the pain. ??

I understand your concern
THe pain you have seems to be due to neuralgia of ulnar nerve-where is passes through a notch in ulnar bone at the back side of elbow. The nerve being just below the skin here, is easily damaged by a fall, blow, trauma /stretch while weight lifting.
The pain caused is sudden & severe.
management consists of-
- Rest to the part,pain relieving medicines vit B12 supplement,,physical therapy
-local injections for nerve block.

-surgical removal of pressure on nerve.
