Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My right eye had a dull, bruised type pain on the top of the eye... almost as if I got poked hard in the eye and it is sore. I noticed it this evening, especially when my contacts where in and I looked up? There is some cloudiness and red in the eye but not the other. I did break a blood vessel in the same eye about 4 weeks ago. It feels like it did following that injury. I had the eye doctor check it out at the time and it was confirmed. Haven t had any issues since. Anything to be concerned with now...
hi sir/mam,eye pain is of 2 types occular(eye proper),orbital(behind the eye pain).occular pain occurs in the following conditions : 1)any corneal abrasions(especially in contact lens users) 2)conjunctivitis 3)eye lid infection(blepharitis) 4)chalazion,stye(sebaceous gland infection of upper eye lid) there may be other causes too but the above mentioned ones are more common.only with detailed examination of the affected eye by an ophthalmologist, a specific diagnosis can be made out and thus an appropriate treatment.so,please do have an expert consultation.hope my answer is clear.any further questions, please write to us.its my pleasure to be of any help to you.thank you.take care.bye.
