What Does Pain And Pressure In The Left Eye Indicate?

I have type 2 diabetes and I am sick. It started about 10 or more days ago with moderate to severe left eye pain and pressure. Then it moved down into my neck then I thought I got a bout of pluritis (not the first time) because I could not take a deep breath the pain was intense. I had a low grade fever 99.8. At this point my stomach started building with bad gas and bloating. Tried gas x to no avail. If I ate I was nauseous and had diarrhea and still do. I just want to know if I should try a protein shake? I haven t eaten in five days, no desire.
