What Does Pain And Redness In The Eyes Indicate?

my eyes are very red and hurt. my eyes are continuously watering. my husband has a fever of 100. he will not go to the doctor. these symptoms are for my husband not me. I am trying to help ease his discomfort with warm compresses on his eyes and he says it helps, but of course not curing the problem. he has cirrhosis of the liver so I have to be very careful with medication for his fever. any suggestions since he will not go to the doctors. very very stubborn.

this is viral or allergic conjunctivitis with epiphora.for cirrhosis you have to avoid hepatotoxicfood and drink and refrain from taking alcohol and tobacco if strictly preventive measure are taken the it stop at reversible stage or it become irreversible then difficult to cure and prognosis is bad he develops ascitis enraged liver nausea vomiting.
