What Does Pain Around A Gallbladder Surgical Area Indicate?

I had gallbladder surgery nine weeks ago and am still having a lot of pain in the area. The doctor said she put surgigel to stop the bleeding. IT shows up on a ct scan as fluid, but er doctors say it is an abscess. She said it is the surgigel. Is that true?

The pain might be due to some secondary infection at the surgical site. Sometimes it can also be due to some fluid which could not be drained completely.
You should get a fresh ultrasound done and then consult a surgeon accordingly.
