What Does Pain At Base Of Penis During Movement Indicate?

This morning I woke up with pain on the base of my penis it feels like there is a hard ball and hurts when I move it from side to side. I was wondering if it could be a pinched nerve or something of those lines. It just started today and the ball was never there before. Hurts more when erect and very painful when I move side to side or up and down

Hi,

It can be due to renal calculi, urinary tract infection, orchitis. Doing a urine culture, ultrasound pelvis and scrotum can help diagnose it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S. R. Raveendran, Sexologist
