What Does Pain Behind The Ear Indicate?

My daughter is complaining of pain behind the lower lobe of her ear on the jaw line, no other symptoms. No fever, no head pain, only the right side. She hasn t had any trauma to it, nothing is in it, and we don t use tips. She is 5 I was thinking it could be molars coming in?

Yes it could be third molar erupting pain.

Lymphedenitis, pharyngitis are other possibilities.

Posterior pharynx examination and tooth examination needed for primary work up for that.
