Hello, I was in an accident a year ago and have been having problems with my neck ever since. I went to a chiropractor but that didn t help. The last couple of weeks I have been having pain directly behind my ears and in my neck. Now the outside of my ears feel hot and warm and I am also feeling the same thing on my cheekbones? I am also having a lot of cracking in my neck with the slight less movement. YYYY@YYYY
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain behind the ears which is because of ear infection which sometimes remain persistent and leads to recurrent otitis media and ear pain. You should keep your ear dry , take steam twice a day and apply warm dry compresses to external ear. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may examine by otoscopic means to check level of infection. Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and allergy test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics at least for 10 days along with decongestant and anti inflammatory.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
