What Does Pain Behind The Right Eye And Blurred Vision Indicate?

My 17 year old son just told me he has had eye pain behind his right eye for five hours. He took Tylenol a few hours ago and it did not help. It came on quickly and the pain varies. His vision is a little blurred. He did not get hit or get any thing in it. I have a call into his PCP

* I strongly recommend to consult him an ophthalmologist for best evaluation and further management.

Primary relief at present can be obtained with ice pack application.
