Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Since general measures have not provided any relief, thus following is my recommended approach:

1. Going by your symptoms, you need urgent medical evaluation since it could be a blood clot [DVT- deep vein thrombosis] which has to be immediately excluded as there is [pain, swelling, warm] so seek immediate medical intervention [vascular surgeon opinion] or visit an ER.

PS. Ask for doppler study [since the clot could break free and travel up to the lungs to cause fatal embolism].

2. Consult an Orthopedic surgeon, since it could be DVT [deep vein thrombosis], PVD [peripheral vascular disorder] or simply because of cramps in calf [due to diabetes, calcium/salt deficiency].

PS. The symptoms have to be carefully assessed by your doctor to ensure that whether it requires immediate medical attention or long-term therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood
