What Does Pain Below The Laryngeal Prominence Indicate?
I feel slight pain directly below my Adam’s apple when I sneeze or yawn. Can talk fine without any pain and have no problem swallowing. It has been going on for about a week now. I have severe episodes of acid reflux when I sleep. Also feels like a have something stuck in my throat below Adam’s apple? Please help
Since you have the pathology there, it has to be treated. If a hiatus hernia is minor medical management with symptomatic treatment with gastric tablets and few lifestyle modifications like head end elevation while sleeping is all necessary.
So, kindly get an endoscopy done and get back to us for further treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
