What Does Pain In The Left Arm After A Miscarriage Indicate?

I am 4 weeks pregnant and actively having a miscarriage. I spoke to my dr and am scheduled to see her on Thursday. This was expected because i had my tubes tied one year ago. I Am feeling a sharp pain in my left arm between my shoulder and elbow. Is this associated with the miscarriage? Anything i should be concerned with?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The pain that you are having has nothing to do with the miscarriage it might be a muscular pain all you need to do is to take over the counter painkiller and the pain will settle.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
