What Does Pain In The Left Nostril Indicate?

I m trying to figure out why my left nostril has been causing me pain off and on for the last month or more. I bought a saline spray which makes it feel a little better when I use it. However, the inside of my nostril looks white and seems to keep cracking and burns when it cracks. This has never happened to me before and I haven t started any new medicines. I really don t have any drainage. It actually hurts to blow my nose.

Hi. It is possible that you might have a deviated nasal septum. Why don't you visit and ENT doctor and get a checkup done. The saline spray makes you feel better due to the decongestion it provides, but is no long term solution to the problem. Thanks and regards. Dr Neel Kudchadkar
