What Does Pain In The Left Shoulder And Left Arm Indicate?

Hello I have a question I have been having severe pain in my left shoulder radiating down my left arm my fingertips are totally numb my hand feels like it s asleep the pain starting to go down into my left leg now I was wondering if you knew what could be causing this I don t have health insurance and I don t want to run to a doctor if it s nothing it s been about 6 days nothing is helping the pain at all I m not sleeping I can t get comfortable I tried he I tried ice I ve traveled probably have taken 35 ibuprofen in the last day and a half and nothing is

Hello,

Kindly do not use drugs so much. 35 tablets is not a joke. It can lead liver and kidney failure. I can understand your pain but never try self-medication.

Maybe all your pain is due to brachial nerve compression. Due to trivial trauma or any cause would have damaged the nerves going to arm area and typical course of pain and numbness you are describing to us.

If you do not have money, then kindly go to a government setup where they treat you for free or less amount. MRI or ultrasound axilla is preferred investigation. Hope you get all the above things done. For the pain, you can use diclofenac or tramadol but with a prescription.
