General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your pulse is normal and your blood pressure is high, but not high enough to require that you be seen right away unless you are having symptoms like severe headache or chest pain. In fact, the shoulder pain could be causing your elevated blood pressure.

Talk to your doctor about sending you to a physical therapist to help with the shoulder blade pain and also about re-evaluating your blood pressure medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kathy Robinson
