What Does Pain In The Left Thigh Indicate?

While getting into my car, I heard a pop in my upper left thigh and was not able to move my leg without pain. Also, it feels like I have had a pulled groin muscle for the past three weeks on the same leg. I have also been diagnosed with Parkinson s for the last three years. Could this be anything more than muscle pulls?
