What Does Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Left Side Indicate?
I have pain in my left side of my lower abdomen. I feel bloated, and am constipated even after giving my self a fleet enema yesterday afternoon. I cannot see my doctor until next Friday. Went to ER and had a sonogram and cat scan yesterday and there were no tumors and my ovaries were difficult to find on the Sonogram. I am still in pain and very uncomfortable.

The most probable reason of such symptoms is diverticulitis of sigmoid colon. Diverticles are a kind of small pouches in the intestinal wall. Once such pouch become obstructed, inflammation appears.
You should have an antibiotic treatment and after few weeks colonoscopy done.
