What Does Pain In The Lower Back And Abdomen Indicate?

I am experiencing aching in my low back and belly and a feeling of fullness/congestion. I just turned 50 and was pronounced to be officially menopausal in April. I am experiencing some post-menopausal bleeding and will see my OBGYN in a 3 days, but these are new symptoms and I am very uncomfortable.

Hi
Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health problems.

Uterine spasm can cause this type of pain. During first 2-3 years of postmenopausal age these type of symptoms are expected in many women. As you are going to consult OBGYN very soon, right now you can take Meftal spas (Mefenemic acid + Dicyclomine) for pain relief.
Further OBGYN will advice you regarding initiation of hormonal replacement therapy is required or not.

Regards
Dr. Hiren
