Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does Pain In The Lower Back And Buttocks Indicate?
I d appreciate any advice you can give me. Due to having pain in the lower back, buttocks, & legs I had an MRi and the doctor told me that I m in bad shape with the stuff that separates the disks going away, He told me I could get shots to reduce the symptoms or surgery to correct the situation. Not getting surgery could lead to ugly consequences. Are there any exercises or therapy I can try to correct the problem or at least stop it from getting worse.
I understand your problem. May I know your age? For how long you have pain like this?
As you prefer other techniques other than surgery, I suggest you to get Lumbar belt according to your hip size or traction set for pain relief and you can take tablet Hifenac D as a pain killer.
If symptoms persist, I suggest you to consult an Orthopedician for further treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Indhu Priyadharshini
