Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 12 year old daughter has began to start having pain in her lower back /tail bone area, making it difficult for her to stand when sitting and or when getting out of bed, she if feels like when some one grabs you or squeezes when you re muscles are sore, i recently lost our health benefits, and wanted to see if there is anything that she or I could do before having to take her in to a doctor, aside from standing when sitting and getting out of she is fully functional but says pain has not gotten worse or better , if there is anything we could do to try and remedy this please let me know
Is there any history of trauma as she has severe pain during movement?
The common causes are: 1) Trauma or injury 2) Sprain 3) Muscle spasm 4) Neuropathy 5) May chance of renal stone 6) Improper posture
Give tablet Aceclofenac as per her weight; apply diclofenac gel or volini spray. Do physiotherapy as advised. Also, do an x-ray and MRI of back after consultation.
I will suggest you to follow up with detailed history or consult with orthopedician for detailed examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
