What Does Pain In The Navel Indicate?

I just had a car accident 2 months ago not a big one thanks god but now 3 weeks ago I started having pain in my belly button i went to my Dr he said I had a small incarcerated umbilical hernia and I need it surgery I just had it done now my question is can it be caused by the car accident because of the impact and the straining of the seatbelt.

I reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I don't think that hernia is caused by seat belt. It is from congenital deffect.
Maybe incarceration happened due to trauma of abdomen.
