What Does Pain In The Soles Of The Feet Indicate?

I have been having foot pain. It seems to be worse after I have been sitting and stand up. The bottoms of my feet hurt. Also, this morning, I woke up with a pain behind my knee. It doesn t feel like a bone pain. I do not have a bruise, although a friend commented that I had a vein that looked like it might be going vericose. Is this something to be worried about or just part of aging?
