What Does Pain Near The Temple & Ear Suggest?

Hello Docs, I am Ruth, am 39 years old and married. I have been having this dull ache in my left temple which aggravates if I am on the phone and the discomfort spreads to the left ear & the left side of the head. The left ear also feels a bit warm. Should I be concerned about this, I hope its not any tumor. Please advice. Thanks in advance.
