My stepfather died from ling cancer caused by asbestos exposure. I had trouble been having pain in my back and chest, so they did a chest x-ray and they said I had overinflated lungs with mild interstitial prominence. I was worried that this could be something caused by me being exposed to the asbestos too. I have wore his coveralls many times that he worked in and I heard there is a chance I could have been exposed

Hi, An asbestos factory worker when exposed to asbestos for 15-16 years at a stretch, can have lung cancer, You had used your husbands coveralls( he used while working in asbestos factory... which has very less chances to have lung cancer as compared to long working workmen. please be cool...There are many other lung condition which can cause over filled lungs ( like bronchitis/asthma)which are treatable,please get examined by a chest physician followed by needful investigations & specific treatment. thanks
