What Does Pain On The Left Side Of The Abdomen Indicate?

Hi Dr. Rynne, my question is: i have been suffering dor the past 3 months with gases and lately I have a pain on my left side of my stomach close to my ingle I feel something in there very unconfortable like a bubble, I JUST HAD MY YEARLY LAB TESTS AND THEY FOUND THAT MY CHOLESTEROL IS VERY HIGH 300 and my trigliceries also like 240. could that be the problem cause of my high colesterol? thank you
