What Does Pain On The Left Side Of The Head Indicate?

this is hard to describe, I m having a pain in the left my head that kind of cycles, and lasts around 5 to 15 seconds and is followed by a hollow numb stinging feeling, and I have also had numbness in my left arm. I am wondering what could be causing this, and if I need to call my neurologist in the morning?

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service. I read your query and here is my advice.
I think you are suffering from ice pick headache. It is s primary stabing headache.
Primary stabbing headaches are caused by overactivity or problems with pain-sensitive structures in the head. They may occur without an identifiable cause, or they could develop from an underlying disease. Some things that are possibly related to primary stabbing headache are herpes zoster, stroke, migraine, and multiple sclerosis.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
