What Does Pain On The Right Side Of The Groin Area Indicate?

Just starting a couple hours ago, I have had a few dull and sharp pains at my right side groin area. The pains only last a second or two. When I had the first sharp pain, I applied pressure with my fingers at the area. This pain lasted the longest, a few seconds, and the pain went away. I’m still having the pains when walking and even sitting. If the pains continue, I plan to call my doctor on Friday. Can’t do it tomorrow, Happy Thanksgiving.
