What Does Pain Under The Rib Cage On The Right Side Indicate?

I am experiencing pain under my right fib cage that radiate to my back. I first experienced hhthis pain back in Thanskgiving and thought I had perhaps had eaten too much. Tums, etc provided only minimum relief. One week ago, the pains started again. Could this be my pancreas? The pain is not raditating down my right side and through my back.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Make sure that you are not constipated, if yes, take Omez once daily for 5 days. You should be relieved of the problem, take plenty of water orally & eat fibre rich food. If you still have the problem it can be some liver or gall bladder problem. You should get examined as delay may enhance your problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
