Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Pain in the back and the ribs after urinary tract infection, kidneybiopsy are known to occur and is of referral nature. If the urine infection is suspected then detailed urine examination including culture and sensitivity will give an idea about probable cause and guide for a proper management. Also see if there is any local tenderness over the painful ribs and back and if present then the cause may be most probably local muscle problems and a proper local as well as oral medications should help to get a proper relief. Watch for the urine every time and if the bleeding or anything is present you have to consult your Doctor/ Urologist for proper evaluation and management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
