What Does Painful Urination Indicate?

I have had light colored clay stool for over a month. Along with that I have pain when I urinate and abdominal pain that radiates into my left side lower pain. I believe it s either a bladder or kidney infection. I am a 46 year old female. Would you please give me your diagnosis? I am wondering if they are related to one problem.
