Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Complete rupture of follicle is required to release ova and to undergo fertilization. Complete rupture generally takes place between day 14 and day 18. You can do a follow up scan to check whether the rupture has become complete or not.

Wishing you good health.

Thanks.
