What Does Persistent Swelling In Left Foot Post Meniscus Repair On Left Knee Suggest?

Just got back last evening from a two-week trip to Italy, while there my left foot would swell every day and never went down. I am 59 years old female with no health issues and I am on no medications. Could this be to dehydration, due to urinary frequency that I experience I kept to a minimum as to avoid having to stop my tour group. In February I had due to urinary frequency that I experience I kept to a minimum as to avoid having to stop my tour group. In February I had lateral and medial and meniscus repair on the left knee, could that have anything to do with it?

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

The swelling might be from long walkings you have done on the tour. Try to have a rest and to get that leg in up position. The swelling should be better soon after that.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
