What Does Pink Urine After Sex In Early Pregnancy Indicate?

I just found out I was pregnant today! Before I could tell my husband, we had sex. Afterward, I went to clean up and urinate. There's no pain of what so ever, urine color is normal, but when I wipe myself I notice that that urine color is pink. Not creamy pink or any thick pink color but watery pink(urine pink). What could this mean?

Hello, and I hope I can help you today.

First of all, 15 percent of women bleed during early pregnancy. Intercourse can sometimes cause bleeding during pregnancy, but it is not a sign of anything harmful unless it is associated with severe abdominal pain and passage of clots me tissue.

Urination can sometimes show a bit of blood if you have a urinary tract infection, which is also common during pregnancy.

Your physician may be able to diagnose the problem and treat your UTI if present.

Until you see your doctor, i recommend waiting a week before attempting intercourse again.
