What Does Pink Vaginal Discharge While On Birth Control Pills Indicate?
I m in the pill and have just finished antibiotics (in the form of a vaginal gel) for a PID. I thought I was getting my period today (cramping, bloating, lower back pain, etc.) except when I used the bathroom, there was no blood on the pad, but there was a clot of dark red blood stuck to the tissue after I wiped. I used the restroom again later and this time there was a gummy, pink substance on the pad and no red blood to speak of. What could this be?

It quite common with hormonal pills and will settle by itself. It does not indicate any disease condition and no definite treatment is required either.
